Note: Reservations required. It is recommended to call at least one week ahead of the
tea ceremony date to reserve a seat. The tea room has a max capacity of 30 people.

May 24, 2014 - Boys Day - 1:30 - 3 pm. Celebration day for boys with Hakkoryu Jujutsu Demonstration from Menkyo Shihan Joseph Stricker (licensed Master).

June 14, 2014 - Traditional Tea Ceremony – 2 pm. Tea ceremony hosted by persons in Kimono. Taste Japanese Matcha tea and sample Japanese sweets. $8.00 p/p. Reservations suggested.

June 28, 2014 - Flower Day - 1:30 - 3:30 pm. Watch beautiful Ikebana (Japanese Flower Arranging) being created and enjoy the finished product assembled in traditional fashion.

July 5, 2014 - Tanabata Matsuri - 1:30 - 3:30 pm. Known also as "The Star Festival", Tanabata is celebrated in Japan on July 7th. Two stars were so in love they neglected their chores and the king separated them; allowing them to meet only once a year on July 7th. Wishes are written on papers and hung from trees. Come celebrate with us!

August 9, 2014 - Traditional Tea Ceremony – 2 pm. Tea ceremony hosted by persons in Kimono. Taste Japanese Matcha tea and sample Japanese sweets. $8.00 p/p. Reservations suggested.

August 16, 2014 - Fan Fare - 12 - 4 pm. Come see the gorgeous display of Japanese fans. The artistic delicate creations will amaze! Perhaps even cool off with a breeze from Lake Linton.

September 13, 2014 - Traditional Tea Ceremony – 2 pm. Tea ceremony hosted by persons in Kimono. Taste Japanese Matcha tea and sample Japanese sweets. $8.00 p/p. Reservations suggested.

September 21, 2014 - Japan Festival - 1 - 4 pm. Japanese entertainment and demonstrations of traditional Japanese arts.
